What about everyone else? What about those who have never heard about Jesus? What about those who left the church, or abandoned faith because of hypocrisy or hurt that came from within the church, or man made religion?
Where are the films that reach these people? Where are the films that apologize for the hurt, the shaming, or the neglect? Where are the films that embrace “the least of these” and say “You are loved”?
THIS IS WHERE OUR WORK BEGINS!
OUR VISION
Many well-made films are created primarily for audiences who already share a Christian worldview. Our work starts somewhere else.

Inspired by Luke 15—the parable of the lost sheep—99:1 Studios develops stories for people who may feel distant from faith, certainty, or hope. Not to promote religion, but to reflect unconditional love through honest, human storytelling.

That means honoring real experiences and real lives. Our stories may be rough, messy, or uncomfortable at times. They can include strong language, difficult themes, and depictions of violence or abuse—not for shock value, but because they reflect the truth of the world as it is. We believe those realities shouldn’t be ignored or softened if the goal is authenticity.

Our aim is to break from traditional faith-based storytelling by meeting audiences where they are, engaging them with truth, dignity, and meaning rooted in the teachings of Jesus. Every person has value, and every story deserves to be told with care.

Our projects are not created for ratings, controversy, or comparison. They are created with intention—grounded in truth, shaped by real human experience, and guided by the Gospel.
